Academic journal “Proceedings of VTS”

Voronezh Theological Seminary has been publishing an academic periodical “Proceedings of Voronezh Teological Seminary” since 2006 (originally called “Collection of articles of teachers and graduates of Voronezh Orthodox Theological Seminary”, then “Proceedings of teachers and graduates of Voronezh Orthodox Theological Seminary”), which is based on the research articles of teachers, seminary staff members, as well as experts of the other universities and scientific organizations.

The main topics of articles and materials of the academic journal “Proceedings of Voronezh Theological Seminary” are the following disciplines: 5.6.1. National History, 5.7.2. History of philosophy, 5.11.1. Theoretical theology (in the research field: Orthodoxy), 5.11.2. Historical theology (in the research field: Orthodoxy), 5.11.3. Practical theology (in the research field: Orthodoxy).
The editorial board of the academic journal “Proceedings of Voronezh Theological Seminary” includes employees of the seminary, as well as of the leading Voronezh universities, of which there are 2 doctors of sciences, 10 candidates of sciences, including 6 candidates of theology.

The publication is included in the Church-wide list of peer-reviewed publications in which the results of research of applicants for the degrees of Doctor of theology, Doctor of Church History and Candidate of theology should be published (as amended on 05/25/2021), and is also indexed in the national bibliographic database Russian Scientific Citation Index (RSCI). The scientific journal "Proceedings of the Voronezh Theological Seminary" is not included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC).
